About The Team
Max and I approach accounting from opposite sides.
Max ran an accounting practice that handled everything from bookkeeping to tax and advisory. Sean built an ERP for the scrap recycling industry backed by Founders Fund and Index, now used by hundreds of companies.
We kept running into the same issue: great businesses were buried in manual accounting work that could be automated with AI. Cranston started as a conversation about fixing that.
We’re YC founders, engineers, and operators who believe the next Intuit-scale company won’t sell software to accountants — it’ll be the accounting firm itself.
